Halo Ostomy makes the Halo Ostomy Stoma Guard. It gives any Ostomate instant peace of mind so they can live an active life with no worries.
The Halo Stoma Guard is a reusable Stoma protective device designed to attach seamlessly to your Ostomy pouch using a Velcro sticker. Constructed from robust polypropylene, it offers durability for repeated use.
Each Halo Stoma Guard includes a Velcro sticker with an adhesive backing, which should be replaced each time you change your pouch. Each kit comes with 60 replacement Velcro stickers. To clarify, the Velcro sticker adheres to your pouch, allowing the Halo Stoma Guard to attach easily; it can be discreetly removed and reattached whenever necessary.
Is Your Stoma Protected?
The 4 most common ways to hurt your stoma and how to avoid them.
1. Children and pets jumping on you
You walk through the door and when your grandchildren or dog comes charging at you to give you love and you don’t reciprocate with open arms because you’re afraid of hurting your stoma. Instead you take a defensive stance and hold out your arms to keep a safe distance between you and your most beloved..
2. Seat belts
ItHow many times have you got into a car and carefully positioned the seatbelt away from your stoma, just to have it spring back to rub and chafe your ostomy with every little movement, making every car ride uncomfortable at best and a down right hazard at worst? Of course they sell “pillows” that attach onto the seatbelt, but why announce to the world you have a stoma that requires special padding for the car ride.
3. Accidental bumps
ISo your doctor advises you to go out and do fun things, to enjoy life as you normally would. Whether it's camping in the great outdoors or taking ballroom dance lessons, physical activity is encouraged. But just thinking of all the extra ways you can accidentally bump into things and hurt your stoma is enough to keep you confined to the home.
4. Belts worn around the waist
IThough affecting men more than women, for those of you that have your stoma right at your waist line, you put your ostomy in harm's way every time you wear a belt. You’re then left with either pulling your pants way up above your ostomy, or cinching your belt way down under your stoma, but then forced to live with the bulge of output buildup above the belt line.
FAQ’s
So how do you go from vulnerable to invincible with no more worries about hurting your stoma?
You put on armor for your stoma, by wearing a stoma guard. But not just any will do. You want to avoid clunky stoma guards that show through clothing and attract unwanted attention. You should also stay away from systems that use awkward elastic belts that are prone to slipping and can never keep the guard in place over your stoma.

Simple & easy to use, Halo Stoma Guard attaches to your ostomy pouch with a velcro sticker that is replaced with each ostomy bag change. 60 stickers are included with each kit, and additional refill stickers are available for purchase.
